Nursery Admissions

Children are admitted into our Nursery class from the term after the child’s 3rd birthday. The academic year runs from 1st September to 31st August.

St Joseph’s supports the entitlement to 15 hours free early year’s provision for 3 and 4 year olds in a teacher led session.

To apply for a place please complete a Nursery Application Form which you need to send direct to the school. For nursery places we follow the School’s Nursery Admission’s Criteria.

Please note: It is important to note that transition into the Reception class from St. Joseph’s Nursery is not automatic and you do have to reapply under normal Reception intake regulations by submitting an application to the Local Authority online admissions department.

Waiting lists are only applicable from the year in which the application was received. To remain on the waiting list, parents/carers must re-apply annually.

Additional Childcare Provision

Parents can purchase additional childcare provision where available. Please read the Nursery Charging Policy – Information for Parents for charges and the pricing structure.

Visiting Our School

We offer tours of the school. Tours usually take place on Thursdays at 11.00am and provide parents/carers with an opportunity to meet the Headteacher, to be shown around the school by our Head Boy and Head Girl and have questions answered.

Please ring the school office 020 8874 1888 to book a place on the next available tour.
